Balance is the Key to Life.
A quieter approach to wellbeing - shaped by lived experience.
I’m Kylie, the founder of The Key Urban Retreats.
This space was created for people who are capable, caring and often holding a lot - sometimes without realising how much it’s costing them.
Like many, I learned how to keep going, stay functional and meet expectations. Over time, I also learned the importance of slowing down, listening more closely and creating space for the nervous system to settle - not just occasionally, but consistently.
That understanding now sits at the heart of everything I offer.
How I Work
My approach is grounded, intuitive and intentionally unhurried.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all wellbeing or pushing the body and mind beyond what’s sustainable. Instead, I focus on creating environments where people feel safe enough to soften - where care, presence and thoughtful pacing are prioritised.
Whether you’re joining a small group yoga class or a one-on-one healing or coaching session, you’ll be met with respect, attentiveness and genuine care.
The Studio Philosophy
The Key Urban Retreats is intentionally boutique.
Classes are small. Sessions are spacious. Everything is designed to support quality over quantity - both for those who attend and for the integrity of the work itself.
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing things differently.
My work is informed by years of hands-on practice and ongoing training across yoga, body-based therapies, energetic practices and holistic wellbeing.
A Personal Note
I don’t see wellbeing as something to achieve or perfect.
I see it as an ongoing relationship with yourself - one that benefits from steadiness, honesty and support along the way.
This studio reflects the way I live and work now: considered, grounded and deeply respectful of the seasons we move through as humans.
If that resonates, you’re warmly welcome here.
